Description
We met Those Coffee People at World of Coffee in San Diego. They work with a community of farmers, called Aprokafes, who produced this Chiroso. I love the story behind their work with this community, donating 100,000 Chiroso trees to help farmers cultivate new varieties and build new possibilities in rural Colombia. In the cup: bright lemongrass, soft stone fruit sweetness, and a smooth medium body. A natural fit for the Wander collection.

About the producers
Aprokafes is a collective of small, family-owned farms led by Elkin Diosa, whose work raising quality standards has helped this community produce standout specialty coffee.
Where it comes from
Caicedo sits high in Antioquia at 1,800–2,000m. The elevation, combined with shade-growing trees that slow the beans' development, gives this Chiroso the time it needs to build its best flavors.
Processing
Washed - the fruit is fully removed before drying, leaving the bean's natural clarity to shine through.
